“The A Call to Men Foundation’s vision of creating a world where all men and boys are loving and respectful of women and girls is perfectly aligned with our mission at Kristin’s Fund."

Kristin’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safer communities through domestic violence prevention, announces the return of the free A Call To Men Football Camp for middle school and high school boys on Monday and Tuesday, June 14 and 15 at Accelerate Sports. The football camp is sponsored by Kristin’s Fund along with Utica College football’s head coach, Blaise Faggiano, and Pioneer staff. Kristin’s Fund brings trainers from The A Call to Men Foundation, who have decades of experience working with and training men and boys, including The National Football League, to facilitate the program.

“The A Call to Men Foundation’s vision of creating a world where all men and boys are loving and respectful of women and girls is perfectly aligned with our mission at Kristin’s Fund,” said Joe Palumbo, founder and board member of Kristin’s Fund and a college football All American.

The camp includes two evenings of football skills and drills run by Coach Faggiano and his assistants, along with segments about character development and healthy masculinity delivered by the A Call to Men trainers.

"The Call to Men Football Camp sponsored by Kristin's Fund is truly a remarkable experience for everyone involved,” Faggiano said. “The leaders at A Call to Men have made a tremendous impact on the young players and coaches here in the Mohawk Valley."

“The feedback I received from parents, participants and coaches speaks volumes about the quality of this program,” Palumbo added. “Not only is this a chance for players to improve their skills on the field, it’s also a chance to learn life lessons that are invaluable.”

Kristin’s Fund, named after Kristin Palumbo Longo, who was killed in an act of domestic violence in 2009, is dedicated to addressing the root cause of domestic violence by hosting and funding programs that focus on healthy relationships, healthy masculinity and domestic violence prevention. Kristin’s Fund is a non-profit, 501c3 organization.
